Dark brown when it pours, without head. Aroma is strongly smokey and roasted dark malts. Taste gets the smoke first, then the typical stout character with roasted malts and some notes of dark fruits, some wood and leather. Chili appears later on, in its heating sensation, not right in the taste. As usual, when De Molen brews a stoutish ale is very close to a masterpiece. Keep it up!
